Dream Home Art Union (the new name of RSL Art Union)
Our history
RSL Queensland was created in the spirit of mateship. A way to support veterans who were facing significant challenges after returning from World War I. In 1956, the first Dream Home Art Union was created, as a continual source of fundraising for RSL Queensland.
Since then, we've grown to have Australia's biggest prize home line-up, with over $80 million in prizes to be won in a year! Each ticket sold continues to support veterans and families, through advocacy, employment and wellbeing programs, offering new beginnings to veterans as they return from service.
We have now gone back to our proud beginnings, by returning to our name in 1956, Dream Home Art Union.
It’s a name that’s rich in history, setting the bar for prize homes and giving you, our valued customers, the chance to win your own Dream Home. While our name has changed, the work our organisation does has not, ensuring we continue supporting veterans and families now and into the future.
